Accommodation Options at a Glance
We recommend staying on site at Ashridge House as this may making attending the optional Night School of Play more comfortable and convenient (likely from 19.30-21.30 BST) .
Option 1: On site at Ashridge House: Bed & Breakfast (between £162 and £183 per night). Once you have registered for a course and you are interested in this option, contact Portia and she will provide you with a link for booking your accommodation at Ashridge House. Staying at Ashridge gives you the opportunity to soak in more of the magic in their lovely indoor swimming pool and access to their compact yet comprehensive gym facilities.
Option 2: The King’s Arms Hotel 4*: 147 High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 3HL, United Kingdom (around £190 for 2 nights B & B flexible booking). You can book directly with the hotel or consider booking through www.booking.com for a good price.
Option 3: The Penny Farthing Hotel 3*: 296 – 298 High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 1AH, United Kingdom (around £158 for 2 nights room only flexible booking – breakfast can be booked separately at £13 per person per day at The King’s Arms). You can book directly with the hotel or onsider booking through www.booking.com for a good price.
Transportation to and from Ashridge House to Berkhamsted
Car Pool: Students of The School of Play are a warm and friendly bunch, so if you are joining us by public transport, those of us who are driving may be able to offer you a lift to and from Ashridge to Berkhamsted after class each day.
