Playful Leadership: Origination

If your answer is “Yes…” to one or more of these questions, then it’s time to act swiftly before the zombie virus gnaws away the last bit of your playful brain and stymies forever your chances of leading from a place of empathy, creativity and joy.

Playful Leadership: Origination is a homecoming harvest. This 3-day course offers you the chance to hone your creativity through your passions, skills, dreams and wishes so you can play your way towards an even happier and more productive adulthood. Immersed in an exquisite and inspirational play space, you’ll be invited to re-connect with your younger self, re-member those who will further your personal and professional growth and re-collect gifts from your younger self to better resource you in adulthood whatever the weather.

During this playcation, you’ll also gain insights on dealing with ambiguity, experience unusually enjoyable, liberating and easeful ways of making creative and life-affirming connections as well as learn to trust yourself and others in a way that sustains mutual growth. There will be plenty of chances to play, on your own and with others, as you learn through practice the secrets to creativity by returning to your source and living in service of greater good.

This course is limited to up to 12 participants in order to maximise participants’ learning experience.

SCHEDULE

This course runs from 10.00 – 17.00 UK time on all three days.

  • Recollect: Develop an awareness of personal patterns and learn to tune into your own system as well as systems of those around us
  • Resource: Embody the factors that impact and support our wellbeing
  • Restore: Explore your relationship with time, nature and the world around us and harvest the gifts of free play

Depending on the enthusiasm of participants, there will be the option to explore this course’s themes more deeply at The Night School of Play each evening, likely to run from 19.30-21.30 UK time.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course is ideal for constellators, coaches, leaders, managers, creatives and problem solvers who wish to ignite creativity in themselves and in others. It is also a rich source of inspiration and practical tools  for organisational change agents, Agile coaches, Scrum Masters, product managers, HR and consultants.

COURSE HISTORY

Origination is one of four modules in the Playful Leadership programme created by Portia Tung. It is an emergent creation as a result of Portia’s passionate pursuit for a healthy balance between purpose, play and work.
