The golden key to game-changing transformation is by changing our relationship to play. The process of this deep shift, including the ripples that manifest, is what we at The School of Play call Play Tectonics. Imagine a world where what is good for you is good for the system, too.
To play is to pursue self-expression through true play. Our definition of True Play begins with what play expert Dr. Stuart Brown defines as “safe play, fair play and being a good sport.” Play begins with getting clear on who we are and what we stand for.
Play isn’t just an act of hope or faith. Play is an aria of consciousness. Play enables us to self-actuatualise through accompaniment and mutual support. This is why laughter is the sound of play. Laughter is the sound our heart makes when we are having fun.
We play so that everyone can flourish – so that we can each realise our unused potential and put to good use the gift of life we have been given. In this masterpiece of which we are the waft and the weave, we play for our life because that’s how we know we have arrived.
Play is the portal of our next collective evolution.

We will meet weekly late afternoon / early evening for 6 weeks.
We meet as a circle in commitment to supporting one another’s reconnection with our playful selves. During our time together, we will explore the art and science of Play Alchemy depending on what emerges and use these opportunities as invitations to meet our playful selves where we are as we are.
WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?
This course is ideal for individuals who wish to reconnect with their intuition in order to make more effective choices – be it at work, at home or anywhere they go. It is also a rich source of exercises for those who wish to change themselves, not just the systems they work in service of.

ABOUT PORTIA TUNG
Portia is the Play Alchemist, an Executive & Agile Coach and a Systemic Constellations Facilitator. She is dedicated to promoting happier adulthood through lifelong play. By combining her skills with her desire to bring about positive and enduring change, she has stumbled upon a wholesome way of leading she calls Playful Leadership, a manifestation of play alchemy. Based on Portia’s 20+ years in enabling change in organisations and with individuals, it is through play alchemy that we can enable transformational change that is fun, effective and efficient – at work, at home and anywhere we go.
Portia is a popular international speaker and workshop presenter well-known for her creative and energising sessions at Agile conferences. She is also the author of the first ever Agile business novel where you, as the reader, get to determine the outcome of the story The Dream Team Nightmare – Boost Team Productivity Using Agile Techniques.
In her spare time, Portia enjoys befriending Jabberwockies, practising yoga and having tea with fantastic creatures.
